This past year we've been reading and talking about Dara Horn's A Guide for the Perplexed, now it's time to bring your questions, thoughts and insights to a conversation with the author herself. Community-wide Celebration of Learning
Four sessions of fun, thoughtful, innovative and challenging classes with local rabbis, educators, writers, musicians, professors, artists, cooks, dancers, and Jewish yogis. Newborn and young family Lag BaOmer festivities. Peer-led celebration for teens in the park. Join in community art and writing projects. After the classes, a picnic dinner on the patio with a Kelzmakers concert - or head over to the JSN bonfire. Like The Feast of Jewish Learning on facebook to learn more. |
Try Your Hand at the Pushcart
If you love books and movies, and chatting with people about them, you're the perfect candidate to volunteer with the Pushcart. You'll also need to be comfortable with computers, but you don't have to be a wiz. We'll provide individual training for each volunteer.
You can fill in for Jen when she's away or sick, or choose a regular day every week or month. We especially need help over Spring Break and during the month of May.
