Joint operation

The Triangle Industrial CID held another successful joint operation on the 5 December 2013.
Twenty-six fines were issued for the following:
6 x unlicensed vehicles, 2 x obstruction, 10 x disobey Stop sign, 1 x unlicensed driver and 7 x Safety belt.

We are still experiencing problems with vehicles speeding in the area and not stopping at the Stop streets. The CID would like to make an urgent appeal to everyone to please drive slow and cautious and consider the huge amount of pedestrians in the area.

CID’s Security Service provider

Please make sure all windows, doors are locked on your premises and your alarm systems are in good working order.

Two GBS Security vehicles will be patrolling on night shift and one vehicle on day shift over the festive season. Should you need assistance when entering or leaving your premises, or in case of an emergency, you can contact the security on 076 627 3275 or 076 627 0152.

CID AGM WINNERS

The CID would like to congratulate the winners for 2013 that were awarded at the Triangle Industrial CID’s Annual General Meeting held in November 2013. Floating trophies were awarded for the following categories:

“Neatest Building” Winner: ZF Services – Proton Str.
Runner-up: Air Products – Isotope Str.

“Best Garden” Winner: Triangle Park – Reactor Str.
Runner-up: W-Tech – Busaf Park No. 2, Bridge Str.

“Most Improved Building” Winner: Bellville Truck Centre – Reactor Str.
Runner-up: Bagazio – Uranium Str.

The CID would also like to thank the following people from the City of Cape Town that received
awards for “Outstanding Service” delivery:

Jay-dee Bruce, Niklaas van Schalkwyk, Anthony Daniels – Roads & Storm water
Norma Lucas – City Parks
Neil Couert, Bassier Bull – Solid Waste

and the following Security officers from GBS Security: S. Carney, Z. Gweshane, G. Milisi and
Hendrik Geldenhuys.

The CID would also like to thank the members from the SAPS, Traffic Services, Anti Land Invasion, Transnet, Metal Theft Unit (MTU), Displaced Peoples Unit (DPU), GBS and ADT Security, all sponsors, and businesses in the area that assisted with the recycling project.

With the funds generated from this project we will be able to repair the roof panels at the school in January 2014. Thank you to everyone for their continuous support.
