New Product: Cantilever Tensile Towers

Continuing with our line of constant innovation, we are introducing a new concept of slide exit towers for waterparks.

With a slim and light typology through the use of vertical traction cables for the diverse slide stair sections and exit platforms, the central three-column tower is responsible for absorbing structural forces, leaving the whole ascending trajectory of the steps suspended by fine perimeter cables and joined to the central structural core.

The system, which is fully prefabricated and modular, adapts to any slide positioning and height, allowing the exit platforms to be placed at any level and direction in regards to the central tower.

The formal simplicity of our cantilever towers allows new business strategies, as they have been conceived as a support for decorative and promotional images that increase the profitability of our clients’ investment; from digitally printed stretched canvas, rigid panels or even large format video screens.

The exterior tensioned cables allow decorative and themed covers to be fixed with our ultra-light 3D-Tech flexible panel system, transforming the towers into authentic sculptures with great visual impact.

New Product: Natural sand coating for pools

The new BEACHCOVER-PLUS system from Amusement Logic is a continuous coating for surface waterproofing and finishing of pools and artificial lakes, which simulates the texture of a sandy beach.

BEACHCOVER-PLUS has sand grains that are uniform in size and shade, which produce a natural beach surface with a fine and pleasant texture.

Once cured, the product is non-slip and highly resistant to wear and water stagnation, making it ideal to use as a pool basin covering, as a beach edge and paving effect. It can also be combined easily with natural or themed rocks.

The range of colours is achieved with special pigments that are added to the mortar and blended with the coloured sands to be used. Our formula permits a certain level of additional loads to be added during the curing process, which allows sands from the same area to be used and achieve the desired landscaping effect in the cases of greater color demands.

Camping La Sirene in France awards development of its new expansion to Amusement Logic

Located in Argeles sur Mer, La Sirene campsite was pioneer in offering its clients MultiAction pools, a concept that has become popular in recent years. Since we started working with this client, their organisation has grown. They currently have four campsites and they continue to entrust us as always with the development of their themed leisure facilities.

Recently, they gave us a new challenge that we accepted. Continuing with the spirit of improvement and innovation that La Sirene group boasts, it represents a qualitative leap in the camping sector and in the leisure activities offered by this establishment of reference to its guests.

The expansion awarded to us and on which we are already working, is for the addition of a real waterpark in the campsite.

The project includes a children’s pool with a spectacular interactive game, a 10-metre high tower from which a multi-slide, a kamikaze, a giant slide and a hydro-tube will descend and two large indoor heated leisure pools.

The first pool is dedicated to children and youngsters and will feature all types of age-appropriate games for its guests, from slides to climbing walls.

The second pool is for adults, densely themed, with elements of spa and relaxation: waterfalls, Jacuzzis, neck-massage jets and so on.

We will reveal further details of this new and spectacular project in future Newsletter bulletins.

New Extreme Sports project in the United Kingdom

The leisure sector is constant developing and searching for new ways and products to entertain the population. One of the latest trends in the market are the so-called extreme sports parks, in which in a safe and controlled manner, there are adventure and risk-taking sports that traditionally can only be carried out in natural environments.

This type of project, which vary in size and type, can incorporate activities such as surfing, skiing, mountain-biking, speleology, canyoning, white-water rafting amongst others.

Amusement Logic, S.L. was a pioneer in the development of this type of projects, designing and constructing what was the first artificial Canyoning circuit in the world, in the south of France.

We are currently working on a project of these characteristics in the United Kingdom. The project, which includes such exciting activities as canyoning, speleology, coasteering and ice-climbing and contains shopping areas and spaces for children and spectators, has already been submitted to the authorities for licence approval. It has been welcomed by the municipality as well as by the neighbouring community who see the project as an opportunity to boost the area’s economy and to position itself as a tourist destination on a national level.

As in all the projects on which we work, we pay special attention to the family focus of this type of developments, a key to the success of any leisure venture. We also study the design carefully, in order to optimise both the investment as well as the operating costs, resulting in increased profitability.

New themed entrance for Camping Le Floride

In an area with a high density of campsites, such as Le Barcarès in France, the entrance is a mark of identity that allows campsites to position and differentiate themselves from the competition. The entrance is a campsite’s visiting-card and the first perception that clients get on arrival.

Therefore, it is essential that this area is clearly identified and differentiated and that it evokes and encapsulates all that the campsite offers and awaits the clients inside.

Aware of the importance of this area, the campsite’s owner commissioned the study of the entrance’s theming to Amusement Logic. We deployed our creativity and imagination to condense into a compact space, all the messages that the campsite wishes to transmit to its clients: tropical environment, sea, sun, fun and so on.

The result, which we are currently manufacturing with our 3D-Tech process, will be visible from the middle of April, ready for the campsite’s start of the season.

Amusement Logic’s worldwide commercial network continues to grow. During the months of February and March, we have reached important collaboration agreements with different individuals and companies in various countries and on several of the world’s continents, with the aim of further strengthening our presence in international markets and providing our clients with a more direct and personalised service.
