TADL Annual Report 2012 is Online

The 2012 Traverse Area District Library Annual Report to the community is now available online. Did you know that 67% of American households play video games? Due to popular demand, the Traverse Area District Library is now offering an all ages circulating video game collection. The collection is located in the Sight and Sound department at the Woodmere Branch.

We’ve done our homework and purchased a collection of the most critically acclaimed games for XBOX 360, Playstation 3 & Wii. Michele is all smiles.

Nice to Meet You

Michele Rudd is a library assistant in the Youth Services Department at the Woodmere (Main) Branch of the Traverse Area District Library (and yes, she is Bob and Grace Rudd's daughter). She is a life long resident of Traverse City, is a proud graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy and earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education at Michigan State University. Michele is happily married and has two sons away at college. In her free time, she likes to garden and do housework while wearing a tiara and listening to Harry Chapin. She also likes to read and sew.

Michele will also be part of the fantastic team that will be offering summer programming for kids at Blair Elementary this summer. Stop by and say "hi" to Michele!

Michele, what are you reading?

"Currently, I am reading the young adult novel Winger by Andrew Smith.
