Chocolate sculptures from Anat Ratzabi
Have you always dreamed of owning a Rembrandt, Vermeer or Van Gogh worthy of the Rijksmuseum, or are you just simply a big fan of chocolate? Are you looking for a special Christmas or Sint Nicholas gift for one of your relatives or an original promotional gift for your customers?

Stichting Java Village proudly presents the work of Anat Ratzabi. The bronze sculptures of this wonderful artist can be admired in a number of museums and her chocolate patented sculptures, which are just as remarkable, can now be bought from Java Village.

Anat is very interested in supporting our projects in Indonesia, which means we can offer you the sculptures at their regular price, part of which will then be donated to Java Village.

There are 4 different sculptures:
* The girl with the pearl from Vermeer
* Selfportret of Rembrandt
* Selfportret of Vincent van Goch
* a 3d sculpture of Rembrant.
The prices are: € 10 for a 10 x 10 cm sculpture, € 20 for a 20 x 20 cm sculpture and € 40 for a unique Rembrandt 3D sculpture.

You can send your order to info@javavillage.org and transfer the total amount to our bank NL71 ABNA 0409.2107.57, adding € 6,75 for each order for postage. As soon as we will have received your payment, the sculptures will be sent out.

If you will be attending the fundraising dinner at Restaurant Garoeda on 15 November, you can also buy the sculptures there. Also we will be present at the “Zilpa Beads” exposition and sale of unique necklaces created by Zilpa Hoebee in The Hague on November 21 -23. For more details please mail us at info@javavillage.org.

Jewelry Workshop Borg and Daphne Sieraden

The jewelry workshop organised by goldsmith Daphne on 15 October was a big success. After a short introduction on the different types of pearls and their origin, we were shown how a silver charm is made. We then got going ourselves and after having chosen our own pearls, found out stringing a pearl bracelet is not as easy as it seems. Thanks to Daphne and Borg who were extremely helpful, we all left with a wonderful bracelet on our wrists with a special Java Village charm.
We are thinking of organising another, similar workshop in the spring, so if you are interested in joining us then, please send us an e-mail, so we can keep you informed.

Our special thanks go out to Borg en Daphne. We were impressed by your passion and felt lucky to get a chance to look behind the scenes. We all had a wonderful evening and want to thank you for your contribution to Java Village. The proceeds, € 300 are very welcome and will pay for almost the 3 years of junior high school costs of schooling for one child.
