When the spirits wish to communicate, a picture conveys a thousand words.

Before the Enlightenment, educational systems were principally geared for teaching a limited number of professions such as religious orders, physicians, lawyers and scribes. During the 17th century only 30 percent of the population could read or write, rising to 60 percent in the 18th century.

If the majority of our ancestors were unable to converse through the written word how can we expect them to use the same methods to communicate from the afterlife?

These séance cards are designed to let the spirit communicate with symbols as well as letters. Ask a direct question and spirit will have the choice of using words or pictures to give a clearer answer. Incorporating symbols and images from key points throughout history you séance group will be able to interpret information about your ‘guest’ like never before.

Flibbertigibbet

'Flibbertigibbet' is a reading system I have been working on for a number of years. It can be used with any card divination deck and introduces a way of interacting with the sitter never seen before in traditional systems. It is used to generate spreads, govern the depth of reading and can be even used to give intermediate readings before the actual tarot reading takes place.

It can be used and comes with the Spiritas Claritas deck and will also be available as a standalone product. I will also be giving full demonstrations at Doomsday, in Germany in May and The Llangollen Fairy Festival.

There will be a ‘print and play’ version where you can print your own destiny cards provided in pdf format.

A Deluxe Flibbertigibbet set will come with laser cut and etched Destiny Cards, bone dice, additional reading tokens and expanded rules and ideas as well as a choice of custom boxes to keep everything in.

3 Wishes-Lycanthrope Moon by Prof BC

Three Wishes marks the official launch of Prof BC’s Realm of Faerie Series.

The Realm of Faerie is an ambitious project aimed at widening the audience for bizarre magic to include children by using age-appropriate props and routines whilst keeping its focus on the shadowed, dark world. This is not a fairy world of twinkle lights and magic dust but rather the old-world realm of faerie: a world of haunted forests, unhallowed meadows, and the ancient visions of faerie mounds, malevolent Redcaps, and the Unseelie Court.

This is the world of the Brothers Grimm, where children are left in the woods alone and in peril. It draws from the Celtic legends of the Tuatha de Danann, Germanic tradition, Native American folklore, and embraces those cultures and times when Wonder walked the face of the earth.
