Hello Fellow Adventures! We hope this newsletter finds all of you in good health and happiness. We know some of our Adventure Bus family was effected by Superstorm Sandy, and some are still being effected. We hope that things turn around for you soon, and know that you are in our thoughts!

Thanksgiving is fast approaching, and boy do we have a lot to be thankful for: a season full of safe travel, wonderful new friends from all over the world, wonderful old friends who continue to show us lots of support, and jobs that take us to some of the most beautiful places in the country!

Happy Thanksgiving to all, and enjoy your time with family and friends.

Adventure Bus by the numbers: 15

15! That is how many years Adventure Bus has now been in business! That's right, Adventure Bus was founded back in 1997 by Kyle Lapp. We can't tell you exactly how many miles we've travelled, how many places we've been, or how many people we've met since then, but what we can tell you is what a great Journey it has been!

We can't deny that we are lucky, lucky people to be involved in such an adventure and look forward to many more adventurous journeys to come!

Adventure Bus... Who does that???

Meet the Portuguese! AKA... the Crazy Portuguese! They first joined us for a trip back in 2010 when they chartered the bus for a special Best of the National Parks Charter. This past summer, they spent another two weeks with us, this time exploring the Pacific Northwest and Glacier National Park.

portuguese rafting

Here is what their organizer had to say about their latest tour:
"As promised, two years later the Portuguese returned. A magic 2 week trip in the Pacific beaches, alpine meadows, snowfields and glaciers among marmots, goats, squirrels and eagles. Beautiful scenery, unexpected passages, superb trails, fascinating flora and an unforgettable big bear were a must in this extraordinary tour full of paradise spots for all nature fans, hikers and photographers.

portuguese dinner

"The enthusiasm, charm and friendly hospitality of Stephanie and Ardell are really a great motivation … and of course the food, is fabulous !! It was our second great experience with AdventureBus, a unique company and a superb organization. Thank you so much for making this trip a pleasure for me and all my group
And Remember; we’ll be back for another Journey!"

Thanks to Nuno and the "Crazy" Portuguese! We can't wait to have you back again!
