Hello everyone!

For the past week, I have been in awe and amazement. There has been an outpouring of support from kind people like you. The exposure from the Green Home Tour, Facebook, and online bloggers have increased public interest in my Tiny House, and words can't begin to express my gratitude. I am humbled and inspired by you all!

My favorite comment has been "I can live here!". Most people never imagined living in a house the size of a parking space, so the wonder in their eyes make me smile... We can live lightly on this Earth and be happy.

Ojai Arts Festival: DISCARTED Art From Trash
In collaboration with the Ojai Art Festival, the Tiny House will be parked at the Porch Gallery (310 E. Matilija) in downtown Ojai starting Thursday November 7th until Sunday November 10th. Ojai Film Festival's TINY screening
On Saturday, Nov. 9th and Monday, Nov. 11th, the Ojai Film Festival will be screening "TINY: A Story About Living Small" a documentary film by a couple (my friends Merete Mueller and Christopher Carson Smith) who builds their own tiny house from scratch. My Tiny House will be parked close to the theater so you can take a tour of the house afterwards! Here are details of the screening:

Ojai Film Festival's HARMONY screening
On Sunday, Nov. 10th, the Ojai Film Festival will be screening HARMONY: A New Way of Looking at the World. The film is narrated by Prince Charles and explores solutions to the global environmental crisis. It is hosted by the Ojai Valley Green Coalition with a panel discussion after the movie. Ojai Film Festival's AFGHAN CYCLES trailer preview
On Sunday, Nov. 10th, the Ojai Film Festival will be screening the trailer for AFGHAN CYCLES. My good friend Whitney Connor Clapper helped to document the film in Afghanistan! The producers and creators will be giving a behind the scenes presentation with a silent auction. Here are details of the screening:

Photo Book on Vina's Tiny House is now available!
Many of you wanted to purchase the photo book documenting my building process (shown at the Green Home Tour). I have since improved the layout of the book, so the book is now available with 68 pages chock full of photos and information. You can preview and order the book online as a downloadable PDF file or as a softcover book. A hardcopy of this book will be available at the Tiny House during the Ojai Art Festival.
