Spring Has Come!

At least it's here on the calendar. I won't be dying my underpants (my annual ritual to welcome the warm weather) until we hit 70 degrees, but if you'd like to join the Yo-Yo Sisterhood of the Traveling Panties, feel free to sign up now. (I am intentionally sending this out on March 30 in case you think this is some kind of April Fools thing. It isn't.)

In case you're new to my newsletter, I've been welcoming Spring by dying my undies for several years. Puts a smile on my face whenever I step into a pair. Winter is so gray and dismal here in Michigan, that I just need some bright colors in my life. I happened to mention this in my blog a few years back. Somebody asked if I would dye their unmentionables. I said sure, and over a very short period of time I received more than 100 pair in the mail. I dye them outside and hang them in the pine trees in the back yard to dry.

If you'd like to join the fun, read this and I will welcome you with open arms (and a colorful bottom) into the Sisterhood.

On The Road Again

I'll be teaching for the Connecticut Piecemakers April 7 and 8, then making up a snow day here in Michigan with the Genesee Star Quilters on April 25 and 26.
