No reservation required, no experience needed. All ages are welcome, but minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants must be able to swim. Wear clothing and footwear that can get wet.

Here's how it works: Sign a waiver (minors' waivers must be signed by a parent or guardian). Receive a hand stamp, wait to be called to the dock. Stay within the safe confines of Anable Basin, unless invited on a mini-excursion out into the East River by one of our patrol boats. Return equipment after 20 minutes so we can accommodate the next paddlers. Have fun!

Notes: Single paddlers may be paired with another paddler, or (on request) with one of our experienced volunteers. Children under 16 must be paired with an adult.
