Brrrr! I don't know about where you live, but here in St. Louis it has been sooooo chilly! I am pretty sure that Mother Nature has skipped right over fall into winter. I tend to be a real hibernator during winter. I hate the cold and try to go out as little as possible. One of the things I enjoy doing to fill my time is to take online classes. I have been looking at several different online classes to take during my "hibernation". I thought it would be fun to share a few links of the classes I am taking with all of you too.
Insta-Christmas
I am so addicted to taking photos with my phone and to Instagram! I recently realized that I haven't taken a photo of family or my life with my big "real" camera in months. I get it out for occasions like holidays or birthdays, but for everyday moments, it is all on my phone. Back in October I met Danielle as she helped me prep my class for True Scrap. In the course of creating that class I discovered that I had a real desire to embrace memory keeping to document my family's life and our moments more. Since I am all about phone photography and the "insta-craze" I knew I had to take Danielle's Insta-Christmas class. The class is full of daily ideas, prompts, and instruction to help you document your holiday in an Insta kind of way. I am thinking it is a perfect tie in for my Merry Memories book and I will be using it to help me finish my book in a December Daily kind of Insta way.
Another thing I discovered recently is that I LOVE pocket page style scrapbooking! I got away from scrapbooking years ago because the size of two side-by-side 12x12 scrapbook pages intimidated me! It was so much ground to cover! As I got more into stamping I discovered that I really loved smaller sized projects like tags. When I decided that I needed to start memory keeping of some sort again, friends kept telling me that I needed to check out the pocket page albums. I fell in love! It is memory keeping in bite size chunks, which is totally what I wanted to do.
After teaching at True Scrap 5, I really fell in love with the classes that Lain and her team offer. They pack in tons of content that I can soak in, all while sitting in my jammies! You have got to love that! So, combine those, True Scrap quality classes and pocket pages... I am all over this one!

Merry Memories
Merry Memories is my latest class download available on my website. It includes full color step-by-step printable project instructions, a supply list, and printable templates for page inserts. It has a holiday focus and is perfect for your Insta holiday or December Daily projects. True to my style, it includes lots of inky techniques too that you can use again and again on other projects!
Did I mention my new love of pocket pages? I love that this class combines a December Daily concept with pocket pages. I am so thrilled to be among the amazing line up of teachers sharing their pages and holiday memories!
I am making an exception to my "hibernation" by going to California in January. I will be there working at CHA (the Craft & Hobby Association trade show). While I am there, I am also going to teach at Big Picture Classes super fun Live AND Virtual Play event!
The teaching line up is amazing! I can not believe the amazing people I will be teaching along side. These amazing ladies are my scrappy heroes! I will be teaching a fun technique class. The event includes such fun activities, I can hardly wait to be a part of it!
