Dry Weather Measures in Order for Many Areas

We received this reminder from the Missouri Rural Water Association and wanted to pass it along:

"Public drinking water systems are experiencing water levels in wells and lakes lowering obviously due to the extent of dry weather and intense heat. We encourage you to check well drawdown and static water levels and check intake levels from surface water sources. Likewise, you may consider implementing water conservation measures."

Does Your State Program Have a Newsletter?

Last week we blogged about Washington's great newsletter. We received a link to another good one from Massachusetts. Colorado just tweeted that their summer issue was available last week. We're also on the mailing lists for updates from Arkansas, Arizona, Iowa, and Minnesota. Is there a state newsletter you think deserves some kudos? Email us (info@smallwatersupply.org) and let us know!
