yelloh village3

Amusement Logic and the network of high-end campsites Yelloh! Village, have signed an exclusive partnership agreement to collaborate in the development of multiaction pools and theming projects, for the group’s aqua-leisure spaces, in all the camping-villages of the Yelloh! Village network that are spread throughout all of France, Portugal and Spain.

Yelloh! Village has placed their trust in us and has given us the opportunity to develop various flagship projects during recent years, such as the multiaction leisure pools of Le Brasilia, Village Club Farret and Les Flamants Roses campsites, with results that have garnered wide recognition and which have contributed to their customers’ satisfaction.

The symbiosis between both companies has existed from the start, as their philosophy prioritizes values such as quality and innovation. As such, Yelloh! Village considers the aqua-leisure space of all its campsites to be true added value within the holiday experience it offers. For this reason, it values the approach that Amusement Logic applies to each of its projects, based on originality of the creative and innovative concept to be developed. For this we rely on the opinion of Yelloh! Village throughout the design phase; a permanent dialogue that through the exchanging of ideas, aims to create the leisure pool project that best represents the spirit of each camping-village, as each one has its original features that make it unique.

Furthermore, in order to construct these turnkey projects and optimise them from an operational standpoint, we make all our expertise available to Yelloh! Village, allowing them as such to meet their clients’ expectations. As, after all, the objective of Yelloh! Village and Amusement Logic is none other than to create spaces of wellbeing, in which all members of the family can enjoy themselves and find their place.

Opening of Costa Caribe, Port Aventura, Spain

Costa Caribe.JPG

As we have reported in previous Newsletter editions, this season we have been working intensely on the expansion of Costa Caribe, Port Aventura’s waterpark.

The expansion that was carried out on an area of 15.000 m2, includes a children’s pool, an adult pool and new aquatic attractions.

Once the design phase was completed, we started manufacturing the themed and leisure elements for which we were contracted: a magnificent pirate galleon, Sesame Street figures to decorate the area, props and four amazing slides that emerge from the ship’s deck that will delight children.

All of this was done in the record time of three months, whilst maintaining Port Aventura’s high quality standards.

The efforts were rewarded by the looks of surprise and satisfaction on the faces of the participants in the park’s opening ceremony, which took place on 17th May and who were pleasantly impressed by the achievement accomplished in such a short space of time.

We would like to use these lines to congratulate Costa Caribe for such a superb expansion and to thank them for trusting once again, in our company.

New product - Wet Shadow Tree

Wet Shadow

Designed to provide shade in plazas, streets or open urban areas, its photovoltaic solar panels supply the energy required to pump the water of a series of jets or misting diffusors installed on its branches.
Its modular conception allows infinity of landscaping compositions, which together with the different ways of spraying arches of water under its branches, allows for pleasant shaded environments for pedestrians.
At the base of the tree, modular benches can be added to accommodate elongated pools, with water curtains in the middle to transmit moisture with the displacement of the air. On the ground, the concept allows for the possibility of channels, which also collect water from the branches and allow spaces to be divided. Water recirculation is done by means of a pump beneath the trunk of each tree.
The Wet Shadow Tree is an autonomous and ecological solution that provides added value to traditional solutions.

New equipment for water movement in lazy rivers

rio lento

A Lazy River is one of the key attractions in a waterpark. It is a channel through which a current of water flows, which follows a winding path around the park.

Guests can travel on it on a tube, by walking it or simply by letting their bodies float in the water. Throughout the river’s course, there can be quieter areas or more active zones with surprises, such as spray attractions, different types of current, waves and so on.

A Lazy River requires the movement of a great flow of water and traditional equipment usually requires large investment, both for the equipment itself, as well as for structures, hydraulic networks etc. Furthermore, due to its low performance, it requires a large amount of electricity to generate the movement of the water.

Being aware of this classic attraction’s weak points and following our policy of design of profitable businesses for our clients, safety for customers and respect for the environment; our R+D department has developed new equipment for the movement of the large masses of water in lazy rivers.

With this new system, we get an attraction that is as equally safe as fun, (exceeding all applicable safety standards), whilst greatly reducing implementation costs, as simple and economic civil works are needed. The designed equipment has a high performance, with which power savings of up to 60% are made, in comparison with a conventional system. This means a considerable energy saving or in other words, a reduction in operating costs of this essential waterpark attraction.
