CB2 Meetings; June 4&5, 2013

Community Board 2 (CB2) will hold its monthly economic development and health committee meetings next week, on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.

All committee meetings of Community Board 2 begin with the approval of the agenda and introduction of the committee officers. The meetings conclude with the approval of the previous month's meeting minutes, a chairperson’s report, other business and a community forum during which the public may speak.

Economic Development & Employment Committee Meeting

Tuesday, June 4, 2013; Jonas Board Room, Metcalfe Hall, Long Island University, Flatbush and DeKalb avenues.

Thomas Yang, proprietor of bián dâng and organizer of an off-street food truck food court at the northwest corner of Jay and Water streets, will discuss the collaborative business model.

General Meeting Look-Ahead

The June 12, 2013 general meeting of Community Board 2 will be held at 6:00 pm at Pratt Institute, in the auditorium of Higgins Hall, 61 St. James Place at Lafayette Avenue. Barring a currently unplanned meeting over the summer, this will be the last general meeting before the community board goes into recess. Please plan to join us.

Peg Breen, president of the New York Landmarks Conservancy, will give remarks in honor of the orgnaization's 40th anniversary.
