Date, Time and Script for Colorado Flood Relief Fundraiser

We hope your station(s) will support Colorado's Flood Victims.

Here are the details that have been worked out with the Colorado Broadcasters Association, Rocky Mountain PBS, the Red Cross and Community Food Share.

Wednesday, September 18, 2013 - 4:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

(phones will only be live from 4:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday)

Rocky Mountain PBS will provide their studios for live shots and for Red Cross volunteers to set up their donation call center.

Funds raised will go to the American Red Cross and Community Food Share. All funds collected by Community Food Share will be split between Weld County Food Bank, Food Bank of Larimer County and Community Food Share (Boulder County).

Social Media: Here is the hash tag #COfloodrelief to promote across your social media.

The Governor will stop by Rocky Mountain PBS at approximately 5:15 p.m. to do interviews with all stations.

Television stations are encouraged to use a ticker on the bottom of the screen for the duration of the fundraiser.

Talking points from the Red Cross and Community Food Share will be released shortly.

Radio stations are welcome to use this :15 second SCRIPT to promote Wednesday's fundraiser.
