i've been having an extremely busy 2014. the BIGGEST news of the year, so far, is my book deal with CHRONICLE BOOKS ! . . . no, it's not about clay or art, it's about my dog wilma. the book is called WILMA'S WORLD and it will be out spring 2015. the book is a collection of photographs that i have taken over the past 8 years. wilma writes about her adventures and shares some "life lessons" . . . she is very wise. we are utterly thrilled about this book. you can follow wilma on instagram, facebook, and her blog. when the book is out, she will be giving away free signed copies on these venues.

in april the fabulous ANN VAN HOEY came to my studio to teach a workshop. ann and i met in france last summer when i took her workshop in vallauris. we immediately became friends and i convinced her to come to my studio to teach a class ! she was here for two weeks and we had an amazing and busy time with studio visits, dinner parties, day trips, museums, galleries, etc . . .

i was invited, and very honored, to be part of MARTHA STEWART'S american made online store. i actually sold out of my salt + pepper cellars in one day! i will be offering more items later this year . . . stay tuned.

on monday i leave for the SOUTH OF FRANCE ! i'm going back to vallauris to do an alumni residency (it will be my 4th year in a row). it is my happy place. if you want to follow along and see what i'm making, what is inspiring me, or what i'm eating you can follow me on instagram, facebook, or my blog.

my online shop will be closed until the end of august. when i re-open there will be a lot of items on SALE. i plan to make some changes in my work and with my business . . . less production + more art.
