It is that October time again. Yes we can celebrate as this is the one month that most of us make 2 thirds of our annual income. Black History month! It is a shame really because you have so much work you cannot always support your colleagues when they perform. But we are pioneering, lets shake things up a little and celebrate our history all year round.

STUN are hosting a pilot Film Festival called Fade to Black in collaboration with Z-arts and The New Black Film. The aim of the film nights is to inspire artists and ignite conversations to produce new work and new collaborations. STUN’s client base is theatre and performance art but collaborating idea’s with filmmakers and film enthusiasts could be the beginning of whole new series of work with different perspectives. No one has really done a regular black film night before in the northwest so audiences need to be built. Read on |

The Vogue Ball, project managed by our very own Darren Pritchard, sponsored by the House of Suarez, evolved from cult underground event to sell-out sensation. It took place at the Camp and Furnace 5th October 2013. Special guests included The Lord Mayor of Liverpool Gary Millar . Read on |

'Nyah Kunda lands a role in 'All My Sons'
Young Manchester actor Nyah Kunda age 11yrs lands a role in ‘All My Sons’ at the Royal Exchange Theatre. The Arthur Miller play, directed by Michael Buffong, opened on 1st October 2013. Nyah was asked, out all 3 actors, to play the opening night. Read on |
