Hawaii Bicycling League has asked the City to:
--Implement the Oahu Bike Plan during the Mayor's aggressive repaving schedule (City will make future designs match the Oahu Bike Plan.)
--Make streets leading to rail stations bike and pedestrian friendly
--Install secure, protected bike parking inside the rail stations, sufficient to handle future demand (Draft plans call for only 20 bike parking spaces outside each station.)
--Install bike stairs/channels for stairways, in addition to allowing use of elevators (Not in draft plans at this time.)
--Allow bikes on trains during all hours (Mahalo! City has agreed to do this from day 1.)
