Amateur Music Makers events

Venue: Jaques Samuel Piano Showroom
Dates: 20 July & 10 August

Join us for a performance opportunity for amateur musicians – jazz & classical musicians and beginners most welcome! We offer a friendly, informal space where you can try out your repertoire. Our musicians range in level from beginners to advanced level students. Afterwards, you are welcome to join us for a light lunch and plenty of music chat at a restaurant nearby on the Edgware Road.

Walsall Piano Summer School

Venue: University of Wolverhampton (All-Steinway department)
Dates: 17 - 23 August

This week-long event is aimed at amateur pianists of all levels. Based in Hereford for many years, 2013 will see this renowned course taking up residence in the stunning new Performance Hub at the University of Wolverhampton’s Walsall Campus. With a strong team of tutors, fine pianos and plenty of rooms/instruments for private practice, the course offers pianists the chance to improve their skills, socialise and be inspired by a week of music-making among friends. Dulwich Piano Festival

Venue: Alleyn's School
Date: Sunday 23 June

This event is now fully booked but audience members are most welcome. The class for adult pianists takes place on Sunday 23 June at Alleyn's School at 6.15pm. The entry fee is £1. If you would like to see what the festival is like, do come along. It is also a wonderful opportunity to experience the teaching of esteemed pianist and pedagogue Graham Fitch.
