I'm tickled three different shades of pink that Time Thief is finally out and ready for folks to read. As many of you know, I was in the middle of writing this book when my husband was killed in a car accident. It made for some difficult writing, but provided me with a much needed escape of stressful reality.
But enough about me...you want to hear about Time Thief!

After surviving a lightning strike, Kiya Mortenson is determined to get just one thing in her life right. And if that means taking a job as nanny to five pugs who live in a campsite in the Oregon wilderness, then so be it. It doesn’t hurt that the job comes with some pretty spectacular male eye candy, including her new boss’s gorgeous black sheep grandson. If only she didn’t keep having this strange sense of deja vu…
When Peter discovers that his own family is stealing time from Kiya, all bets are off. While she may drive him crazy at times, it’s clear to him that it’s not just lightning that’s creating some serious sparks between them. And he’s not going to let secrets, lies, or a devious murderer keep Kiya from where she belongs: at his side.
The kind folks at Penguin sent me a case of Romance Samplers, a paperback containing excerpts of nine new releases (including Time Thief). The sampler offers a nice way to get a taste of all the authors (Maya Banks, Lisa Gardner, Thea Harrison, Lauren Jameson, M. Leighton, Carly Phillips, and Samantha Young--as well as me, of course), and since I have some to give away, and I'm interested in hearing what people thought of Time Thief, I've decided to combine the two into a quick mini contest.
To enter the contest, you simply have to post in one of the two discussion threads on the forum (http://katiemacalister.invisionzone.com/index.php?/forum/167-time-thief/)). That's all! You don't have to rave about the book (although I am interested in hearing what you think of the new series), but you do have to post something (just not your mailing information--if you are a winner, you'll be contacted for that information).
