The popular productivity book Eat That Frog! has been inspiring people to tackle their most important, unpleasant task first thing and get it out of the way for the day since it was published in 2007.
While I don't know that folding laundry is my most important task each day, it is one that tends to plague me throughout the day -- I dislike taking time away from other things to get it done, and yet I think about it all day long.
In recent weeks I've decided to eat my frog and start the day by folding the previous day's clean laundry. It's a great way to get moving for the day when I first wake up, and it gets it done so that I don't have to worry about it for the rest of the day (except for the occasional day when I have to do two loads).
This principle applies for work or home: Whether your frog is folding laundry or a daily business task, try eating it first thing in the morning. The relief of not having to think about it all day long is well worth the effort!

Get the kids involved in making this sparkly heart garland that even the littlest member of your family can help make!
Some of your best Valentine's Day decor may be hiding in your game closet, and Lisa shows you how she decorated her mantle with her family's favorite game pieces.
A Real Food Journey
This week I shared a bit more about my real food journey in a couple of different places:
I'm a former kitchen dunce, and I'm sharing a little bit about how I learned to cook from scratch, even when I hated my time in the kitchen. (Plus my peanut butter swirl brownies recipe!)
As the New Year feelings fade, so do many of our resolutions, but Becky shows you how to stay organized all year long rather than waiting for the fresh start that a new year brings!
California Pizza Kitchen Guacamole {Copycat Recipe}
My mom has been raving about this California Pizza Kitchen guacamole for months, but I'm not a fan of guacamole and honestly didn't think I would like it. One taste, however, has me hooked, and I see this as a regular addition to holiday get-togethers and parties!
